Oilfield Dispatcher

The Rental Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and managing the daily logistics of the equipment fleet by scheduling drivers, planning routes and communicating with clients to ensure the timely and safe delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will maintain communication with drivers, address any issues that arise during transit and provide real time updates to customers and stakeholders. The Dispatcher must be highly organized, detail orientated and capable of working in a fast paced environment.

Position Responsibilities:

Schedule and dispatch field technicians for for delivery or pickup of equipment at customer locations.*

Plan and optimize routes for timely and cost effective delivery of goods.*

Monitor truck locations and progress throughout the delivery process using GPS systems.*

Serve as the point of contact for drivers and customers , addressing and issues or delays.*

Ensure that all transportation regulations , safety protocols and company policies are followed.*

Update customers on delivery statuses and manage expectations regarding delays or changes in schedules.*

Resolve driver or customer complaints and report on any issues to management.*

Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.*

Manage emergency situations, such as accidents, breakdowns and arrange for alternate routes or recovery services.*

Position Requirements:

Proven experience in a dispatching , logistics or transportation role.*

Knowledge of geographic routes, transportation regulations and freight handling processes.*

Strong communication and and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage drivers and address customer concerns.*

Proficiency in GPS tracking systems.*

Ability to multitask, problem-solve and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.*

Attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively.*

Strong decision -making ability while under pressure.*

Ability to work flexible hours.*

Physical Requirements:

Office setting with frequent phone and computer use.*

Drug/Alcohol/Fitness for work Pre-Employment screening required.*
