Tuscola Energy as an immediate opening for Production Foreman for our Lapeer County lease locations.
- Manages the daily production operation activities.
- Monitor crude oil, gas, and water production.
- Manage lease operating expenses and production budgets to reduce operating costs while increasing production.
- Enforce programs and policies ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Troubleshooting of process/equipment problems, ensure field process equipment is clean, neat and in good working order.
- Plan, schedule, and execute daily production and maintenance tasks to achieve targets.
- Basic to intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel & Outlook.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work successfully with a wide variety of people at different levels within the organization.
- Detail orientated with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work various schedules including nights/weekends/holidays & on-call alarm response.
- Ability to travel to various locations- Prefer applicants having 5+ years of oil and gas experience; or equivalent working experience related to oil and gas industry.
- Able to work in various outdoor conditions.
- Able to wear personal protective equipment when required.
- Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as hot and cold temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors and loud noises.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit; occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work will be conducted in many settings including the field office, and land oil and gas production facilities. Position may require standing, stooping, walking, climbing, carrying instruments weighing up to 40 lbs, and wearing personal protective equipment.
Candidate must be medically cleared to don full-face respiratory protection and complete "Pass" the annual Fit Testing requirements per the Company's Respiratory Protection Program.
