Greenlake is looking for an entrepreneurial, motivated, and intellectually curious oil and gas professional
to join the team in Summer 2025 as a Senior Finance Associate. The candidate will play an integral role
in traditional corporate finance and investor relations functions, and will also be encouraged to
spearhead ad hoc projects under the direction of Greenlake senior leadership. The ideal candidate will
have strong fundamental finance and accounting knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills, a
strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills. The role will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
Interface with Greenlakers across multiple disciplines (Accounting, Land, Subsurface,
Ownership of corporate model with ad hoc scenario analysis
Maintain an executive level vantage point for equity and credit partners with periodic discussion
Ask questions and bring ideas to the table
Participate heavily in evaluation and due diligence for A&D opportunities
Assist on special projects focused on optimizing Greenlake’s capital efficiency
Leverage personal and professional network to foster business development opportunities
Minimum of 2-3 years of Investment Banking experience, or similar
Elite oil & gas financial modeling skills in Excel and foundational knowledge of upstream
Strong work ethic and superior problem-solving skills that thrive in a start-up organization
Ability to effectively communicate information to and work with all levels of the organization
Experience creating reports with Power BI and Power Query is a plus
