We, the Line Operations department at LCRA, based in Marble Falls Texas, are looking for a High Line worker to join our team! In this role, you would help us in our mission to improve the lives of Central Texas. You will be trusted to:
•Perform work, or assist more experienced employees in performing work, on transmission power lines, rights of way, transmission steel structure foundation installations, and with site preparation.
•Operate and maintain, or assist in operation and maintenance, of equipment such as bucket trucks, boom trucks, winch trucks, etc. used in performing aerial work.
•Prepare and transport equipment and material for daily projects.
•Respond to emergency and other call-out situations as required.
•Learn to perform aerial work. Climb wood and steel transmission structures to extreme heights using proper safety equipment.
•Learn and follow all safety, environmental and departmental policies and procedures.
•Perform work by traveling with a small crew to various locations (substations, power plants, transmission lines, etc.) as scheduled.
You qualify with:
•Zero or more years of experience in transmission and/or distribution line construction and/or maintenance work or related field involving work at heights, or relevant experience.
You are a great fit with:
