Senior Project Manager

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Sr. Project Manager opportunity in Eunice, NM at the Urenco USA (UUSA) National Enrichment Facility. Work Location: On-Site at UrencoPer diem is available for those who qualify.

UUSA, operated by Louisiana Energy Services LLC, is the only commercial enrichment facility operating in the US, and is located in Eunice, New Mexico. Project Overview and ObjectivesThis project involves the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of various projects in the Site Projects CAPex portfolio. The Senior Project Manager will ensure that all project objectives are met within the defined scope, time, and cost constraints, while maintaining high-quality standards and stakeholder satisfaction. Objectives include:* Oversee the entire lifecycle of assigned projects, from initiation to closure.

Responsibilities:* Project Planning

o Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.o Develop a detailed project plan, including work breakdown structure (WBS), timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.o Establish clear project roles and responsibilities for team members.* Project Execution

o Direct project teams in the execution of tasks according to the project plan.o Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient resource utilization and task completion.o Oversee the procurement and allocation of project resources, materials, and services.* Risk Management

o Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.o Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize project disruptions.o Regularly update the risk register and report critical risks to leadership.* Stakeholder Management

o Act as the primary point of contact for the client and other key stakeholders.o Conduct regular status meetings and provide detailed progress reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.o Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs through a formal change management process.* Project Monitoring & Control

o Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.o Track project milestones, deliverables, and resource utilization.o Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure proper project governance.o Implement corrective actions when necessary to keep the project on track.* Project Reporting

o Generate weekly and monthly progress reports, detailing project metrics, performance, and issues.o Present project updates to senior management and stakeholders.o Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and ensure alignment with business objectives.* Project Closeout

o Complete all closeout activities, including final deliverables, project documentation, and lessons learned.o Ensure proper handover of project results and documentation to operations or the client.o Facilitate post-implementation reviews to assess project success and identify areas for future improvement. Qualifications:* Bachelor’s Degree in related field is preferred.
