About This Job

Overview

Our Nisku based crane company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, ensuring efficient office procedures, and supporting staff in various capacities. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in clerical and administrative functions, and a high level of reliability and attention to detail.


Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient processes.

Handle clerical duties including filing, data entry, and document management.
Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and vendors to foster positive relationships.
Maintain phone etiquette while managing incoming calls and inquiries.
Utilize QuickBooks for purchase order issuing, accounts payable functions, accounts receivable support, cheque run prepping, and other financial related tasks.
Fuel card management, fleet registration, insurance distribution and coordination
Assist in human resources functions such as onboarding, maintaining accurate employee records, and employee relations, drug and alcohol bookings, fit tests, coverall ordering, safety supplies, etc.
Organize office supplies and inventory management to ensure availability of necessary materials.
Assisting the Fleet Manager with fleet maintenance tracking and documentation
Implement organizational systems to enhance productivity within the office environment.


Requirements

Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
Experience with accounting tasks, including full cycle payables and receivables.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Experience in the Construction and Oil and Gas industries is an asset
Experience with ISO9001, 45001, 14001 is also a major asset as we are currently working toward ISO certification.
Business Administration and/or Accounting Diploma and/or Degree is an asset.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus.
Ability to manage phone systems efficiently while maintaining professionalism.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
