Job Description
Sets up and operates a variety of machines and tools to make parts and products. Uses a variety of machinist's tools and precision measuring instruments; fits and assembles parts into mechanical equipment and determines material, parts, and equipment required. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
The Company will provide appropriate training to enable employees to perform all necessary job functions including the following:
•Perform related functions to provide complete hardware in accordance with engineering specifications
•Perform routine minor machine maintenance as part of their daily work duties
•Routinely move product within the immediate manufacturing work area, including across isle, using shop assigned equipment as required, and complete transactions necessary to move product to the next operation.
•Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training and assisting employees of the same or lower classification level.
•Each employee may be asked, on occasion, to complete other duties and responsibilities as needed. Training will be provided for the additional work when required.
Requirements:
•Must have at least 2 years manufacturing experience
