Non - CDL Delivery Driver SUMMARY Coast Aluminum is a metal distributor operating multiple locations all over the west coast. As a driver for our Portland warehouse, you will be responsible for delivering raw metal to customers throughout the greater Portland area using clean and well maintained, late model equipment. Coast Aluminum provides a clean, safe work environment with opportunity for advancement.
·Late model 28’ straight trucks with roll-top canopies.
· Routes vary and average 100-300 miles per day.
· Monday-Friday work, 5am start time. Frequent OT.
· $22-$25/hr. with incentive programs to earn more!
· Full benefits after 60 days, including vacation/sick/bereavement pay, 401k.
· Company phone provided for ELD (All company CDL and Non-CDL drivers comply with federally regulated service hours) , communication with the office, and calls to customers when needed.
· Secure load using straps/blocks/etc in safe manner.
· Deliver to multiple customers within a specified region in a timely manner.
· Unstrap load for mechanical offload and re-secure multiple times per day.
· Maintain clean, orderly cab/windows. Exterior washing done by a commercial service.

· Must pass DOT drug screen pre-hire including random testing upon hire.
· Must be able to operate a manual or automatic transmission.
· Must be able to sit for extended periods, stand, crouch, climb, lift 50lbs, and be exposed to outdoor heat, rain, snow, wind, dust, etc. on occasion.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals. Must be able to read a tape measure.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must have a valid Driver's License. Must be able to obtain a valid DOT Medical Card.
