ABOUT THE ROLE . . .
Our Electrical Maintenance Technicians maintain, troubleshoot, and update all plant equipment. This includes both mechanical and electrical machine maintenance and repairs. This job requires a strong electrical background but also the necessity to weld, complete light fabrication, rigging, lifting, and mechanical repairs to equipment. The applicant must be flexible from crane repair to heat treat and conveyance systems. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot PLC’s, HMI’s, PID, VFD’s, control circuits along with all plant pneumatics, hydraulics, facilities systems, and mechanical equipment.
Key responsibilities will include:
•Repair and maintain electric, diesel and LP industrial trucks following manuals.
•Repair and adjust, using hand tools, conveyor systems.
•Repair and maintain electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment following blueprints and specifications.
•Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment and pneumatic tools.
•Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoist, cranes, hand tools and power tools.
•Lubricate and clean parts.
•Align machines and equipment and assemble machines. Bolt, weld, rivet and otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures.
•Weld metal components together to fabricate and repair products using brazing and variety of arc and gas welding equipment.
•May set up and operate metal working tools, such as drill press or grinder, to make or repair parts.
EXPERIENCE WE NEED FROM YOU . . .
•5 Years or more industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
•Overhead crane experience
•Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
•Read ladder logic and electrical prints
•Computer experience a plus
•Conveyors and large moving equipment exposure a plus
•Knowledge of piping, hydraulics and welding.
•Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
•Troubleshooting ability.
•Fork truck repair experience.
