Albright is located near the communities of Beaverlodge and Wembley. With a natural gas processing capacity of 150 million cubic feet per day, Albright will also recover and conserve up to 370 tonnes of sulphur per day and will be the first greenfield gas plant with sulphur recovery to be constructed in Alberta in nearly 30 years. Completion is expected in early 2025.
The CSV Karr Gas Plant is a 3rd class facility (that offers 2nd class firing time) located approximately 60km South of Grande Prairie. With natural gas processing capacity of 150 million cubic feet per day, sour gas is processed using amine sweetening, refrigeration and dehydration to recover NGL (C3+) products. The Plant can process crude oil and condensate (C5+) products. Acid gas from the sweetening process is blended with sour raw gas and sent to third-party facilities for further processing. The plant is off-grid and powered by two Siemens Natural Gas turbines.
