The Site Surveyor will provide site auditing services to obtain and communicate the necessary information needed to adequately propose a solar system design.

Responsibilities

•

Travel to project sites in the Las Vegas, Nevada area to obtain necessary information to complete technical design documents for a solar system

•

Create detailed rooftop map layout for solar arrays including roof layout dimensions and all roof penetrations (pipes, vents etc.)

•

Develop a positive relationship with customers to establish rapport and to gather facilities assessment data as needed

•

Conduct a physical site audit using auditing tools including a tablet/phone with apps, measuring devices, and other related equipment

•

Upload site audit documents as needed to coordinate with the design/engineering department to produce permit-ready documents

•

Provide and maintain a current driver's license and a clean driving record to safely operate a company vehicle

•

Gathers detailed structural data on residential homes

•

Identifies issues on homes that may interfere with our installations

•

Gathers all electrical data required by the company

•

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

•

Ability to understand, read, and comprehend contract documents, plans and written and verbal communication skills required to prepare site audit documents and conduct site audit meetings with customers

•

Must be physically able to work on roofs and in attics, as well as lift 50+ pounds on occasion

•

Must be able to work different schedules that involve Mondays- Saturdays

•

Must be located in or around the Las Vegas, NV area

Must be able to follow all safety procedures required by the company Physical demands and abilities Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls

•

Stand for long periods of time

•

Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles

•

Lifting various types of ladders up to 32ft

•

Work on various roof types and heights which include but are not limited to steep roofs, metal roofs, comp shingle, tile, etc.

•

Work in multiple weather conditions which include but are not limited to, wet weather, and extreme heat

Qualifications

•

Driver's License (Required)

•

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

•

Construction: 1 year (Preferred)

•

Solar: 2 years (Preferred)

Education

•

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
