Nondestructive Testing Technician (Radiogrpahy)
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented L2 RT Nondestructive Testing Technician or CEDO to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of materials and structures through various testing methods. This position requires a strong understanding of construction inspection, quality control, and data collection processes to effectively analyze results and contribute to overall project success.
Duties
•Conduct nondestructive testing (NDT) on materials and components to identify defects or irregularities.
•Build and maintain testing equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning correctly.
•Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports documenting findings.
•Perform quality inspections on construction projects to ensure compliance with industry standards.
•Collect and manage data related to testing procedures, results, and quality control measures.
•Collaborate with engineers and project managers to discuss findings and recommend solutions for any identified issues.
•Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests performed, and outcomes for future reference.
Experience
•Proven experience in nondestructive testing techniques such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, or dye penetrant testing is preferred.
•Familiarity with construction inspection processes and quality control standards.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
•Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all work performed.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
