This is a hybrid position located in The Woodlands, TX. Relocation assistance and sponsorship is not provided. This position may be filled as a Fuel Strategist, Senior, or Senior Staff depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
As a member of the Fuel Supply Planning & Operations team, this role a key contributor in the development and implementation of long-term commercial strategies to secure reliable, future-ready fuel supply for Entergy’s generation fleet. The position plays a crucial role in advancing cost-effective outcomes for customers and advocating for the team’s strategies with internal and external stakeholders. The primary focus for the strategist role is the long-termmaking sure the company is ready to connect fuel supply realities to the evolving needs of the regulated utility. Building and maintaining cross-functional relationships within the company is key. The role influences pivotal decisions for the company that, individually, can influence hundreds of millions of dollars over the lifespan of negotiated deals – these decisions are all the more pivotal as the volume of these high-impact decisions increases.
