Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in various trades, enabling them to effectively contribute to multiple aspects of construction and maintenance projects. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
•
Restore and maintain various structures, ensuring they meet safety and aesthetic standards.
•
Perform plumbing tasks, including installation and repair of pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
•
Execute roofing projects, including installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems.
•
Apply caulking to seal joints and seams in various materials to prevent leaks and improve insulation.
•
Install glass in windows and doors, ensuring proper fit and sealing for energy efficiency.
•
Hang doors accurately, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
•
Utilize ThermoGrid software for project management and documentation purposes.
•
Conduct construction painting tasks, preparing surfaces and applying paint or finishes as needed.
•
Oversee flooring installation projects, including tile, hardwood, or plank flooring installation.
•
Maintain a clean and organized construction site, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
•
Proven experience in multiple trades such as plumbing, roofing, caulking, glass installation, door hanging, painting, flooring installation, or related fields.
•
Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations.
•
Proficiency in using tools and equipment associated with various trades.
•
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
•
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
•
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks as required by the job.
•
A valid driver's license required for transportation between job sites.
