Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to perform a variety of tasks related to construction and maintenance. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. Experience in various trades such as carpentry, electrical work, and concrete forming is highly valued.
Duties
•
Assist in the construction of structures by performing tasks such as framing carpentry and cabinet installation.
•
Engage in roof installation and repairs, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
•
Execute plastering tasks to create smooth finishes on walls and ceilings.
•
Participate in concrete forming activities, preparing molds for concrete pours.
•
Perform electrical installations and repairs under the guidance of licensed electricians.
•
Apply caulking materials to seal joints and gaps in structures for insulation and weatherproofing.
•
Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
•
Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
•
Familiarity with various construction techniques including frame carpentry, plastering, cabinet installation, concrete forming, electrical work, and caulking is advantageous.
•
Ability to read schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately.
•
Strong physical stamina; ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
•
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
•
Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to completing tasks efficiently.
