Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Module is a vertically integrated modular housing company with a modular factory, a design and engineering arm, and a construction arm. Key Responsibilities:
•Supervise and coordinate construction crews in the modular plant across various stages of unit assembly (framing, MEP rough-in, insulation, drywall, finishes, etc.
•Monitor workflow and ensure each production station meets daily targets and adheres to schedule milestones
•Collaborate with quality control, and supply chain to resolve bottlenecks and maintain continuous progress
•Interpret construction drawings and modular specifications to ensure work is performed accurately and to standard
•Conduct quality checks at key stages of the build process to ensure modular units meet code compliance and factory quality benchmarks
•Lead daily toolbox talks, enforce safety protocols, and ensure OSHA compliance throughout the floor
•Train and mentor apprentices and less-experienced workers, helping them upskill within the modular production process
•Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials used, and work completed
•Troubleshoot and solve issues that arise during the fabrication and assembly process
Qualifications:
•5+ years of experience in construction, with at least 2 years in a foreman or crew lead role
•Strong understanding of residential or light commercial construction, including sequencing of work across trades
•Ability to read and interpret construction documents, shop drawings, and production plans
•Effective leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
•Working knowledge of modular construction methods and factory production principles (LEAN, takt time, etc.) is a strong plus
•OSHA 30 certification preferred
•Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs
•Work in indoor factory settings with exposure to construction-related noise and materials
What We Offer
Competitive Salary: The base salary for this position ranges from $70,000-$90,000, depending on experience. All employees are eligible for an annual team bonus of up to 10% of their base salary.
