Rainy River Mine

Situated in beautiful northwestern Ontario, 65 km northwest of Fort Frances, the Rainy River Mine is an open pit, gold and silver producing, residential mine site.

The Rainy River Mine, located adjacent to the Ontario / Minnesota border is 65 Kilometers northwest of Fort Frances, Ontario and is situated half way between Winnipeg, Manitoba and Thunder Bay, Ontario The area is home to more than 130 species of birds and large populations of moose, black bear and deer. If you enjoy outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, winter sports and lake country then this is an area you will love to live and work in.

Applicants who reside in Northwestern Ontario and have experience working in a cross-cultural environment, coupled with knowledge of the unique challenges and opportunities presented to those living in the Northwest Ontario, are assets. About The Role Position: Mobile Maintenance Light Vehicle (LV) Labourer Schedule: Shift 7/7 – 12 hour days Term: 3 Month Temporary Position Reports To: LV Maintenance Supervisor

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and hard working individual to join our team as a Mobile Maintenance Light Vehicle (LV) Labourer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper protocols are followed with various tasks within the Maintenance department and ensuring a safe work environment. No prior Maintenance experience is needed, the successful applicant will recieve on the job training to aquire the necessay skills and knowledge required for the position. This is a temporary three (3) month contract with the potential to become a full-time opportunity based on the candidate's attendance, positive work attitude and willingness to learn. Please note that camp and travel accomodations are not available for this role.

Preference will be given to local residents of the Rainy River district.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications* Valid Driver’s License – must have minimum of class G2 license
