Mine Area Manager

GMS is looking to add a Mine Area Manager in Nevada. This unique position requires an individual with strong business acumen combined with in-depth technical knowledge regarding Operations and mill and mobile maintenance. The ideal candidate will drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with clients, and providing expert knowledge and support for various types of maintenance. This role requires both strategic thinking and technical expertise in the industrial sector. This position will be Monday through Friday and weekends as needed with a possibility of remote work. Up to 60% travel time could be expected. The person who fills this position will receive a company vehicle, gas card, credit card, work phone, and laptop. This position will include incentive bonuses.

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mining industry.

· Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company growth targets and revenue objectives.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers.

· Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.

· Negotiate and close deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.

· Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling presentations and proposals for potential clients.

· Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and enhance brand visibility.

· Provide technical expertise and consultation regarding manpower, maintenance and belt conveyor systems.

· Assess clients' operational needs and recommend appropriate maintenance solutions that enhance efficiency and safety.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to operation, mill and mobile maintenance and belt conveyor systems, providing ongoing support to clients.

· Perform regular site visitations and GMS employee evaluations.

· Provide training and technical support to clients on proper maintenance practices.

· Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices to offer cutting-edge solutions to clients.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
