Millwright Helper IV

Position Summary

Responsible for executing helper duties to assist assigned crew.

Primary Responsibility

Basic rigging, come along, etc.

Thread metal pipe, conduit

Cut pipe, conduit, metal, wood

Material handling

Fork truck and pickup truck driving

Use basic tools and care of the tools

Use of hand electric power tools and pneumatic tools

Assist mechanics in assembly and work performance, demolition, cleaning, removing debris

Building and ground maintenance

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience

Knowledge of fire protecting, different types of metals, bearings, mechanical seals, tandem seals, compression packing, multi-stage pumps, vertical pumps, different types of drive coupling, cooling tower fan units, gearboxes and agitators

Physical Requirements
