Manufacturing Floor Lead- Mill Department
Position is a working supervisor role in a precision manufacturing company. The primary function of this position is to manage daily operations on the production floor, focusing on productivity, quality, and production schedules, encouraging teamwork and positive morale.
Duties
•Review daily goals and assignments of resources to meet production schedules.
•Manage production resources and provide problem solving support to eliminate or minimize downtime.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and ability to delegate responsibilities as required by the situation.
•Ensure preparedness for upcoming jobs for tooling, fixturing and coordination of operation requirements
•Participation in schedule reviews, continual improvement initiatives and corrective actions as required.
•Ensure lot traceability for manufacturing lots in accordance with customer and AS9100 requirements
•Manage work schedules of mill team.
•Proactively address safety, bottlenecks and production needs.
•Assist in the setting up and operation of jobs on designated machines as required.

· Experience /Job Requirements
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in precision component manufacturing.
•Must be able to set up and operate 3-5 axis Vertical Mills, read and interpret drawings in GD & T, validate and verify setups and generate first article dimensional reports.
•Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in verbal, written, and diagram form.
•Good understanding of NC code, programming experience preferred.
•Hands on knowledge of Haas controls required.
•Must be able to lift 70 lbs. and have good vision.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
