Coterra is hiring a Midstream Planning Engineer in Houston, Texas
As a Midstream Planning Engineer at Coterra, you are responsible for supporting the evaluation and design of midstream pipelines and facilities to support the Exploration Department with new well developments. Additionally, you will develop solutions to enable optimal production rates through a balanced understanding for the need to support development and growth, while also maintaining optimal operating pressures for legacy wells. You will work very closely with Planning, Exploration, Production, and Operations teams. This position reports directly to the Midstream Engineering Manager and is located on site at our Houston, Texas headquarters.
Years of Experience Range: Minimum of 5 years; Minimum of 3 years of engineering, construction, and project management experience
Work is typically performed indoors in an office environment. Incumbents in this position must be able to physically and legally operate company owned vehicles. Employees must be able to perform work which requires walking, standing, sitting, bending, stooping, and climbing. Exposure to conditions such as extreme heat or cold is likely. Employee is required to physically visit areas where actual operations are occurring, such as drilling and completion’s locations or production sites. Personal protective equipment including, but not limited to head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, and flame resistant clothing are required. Safety rules including OSHA and DOT requirements are strictly enforced. Employees must be willing to travel and work extended hours on short notice.
