The Midstream Analyst is responsible for supporting the integrity and accuracy of production, measurement, and midstream accounting data. This role focuses on analyzing and allocating volumes, monitoring midstream fees, and ensuring accurate invoicing and reporting. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of upstream and midstream operations, field measurement systems, and production accounting processes. This position is key in bridging field data with commercial outcomes to support operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
• Prepare and review meter and allocation statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Perform NGL and plant volume allocations back to wells, based on contractual and operational data.
• Monitor and analyze midstream fees, identifying discrepancies or variances.
• Support the allocation of processing plants to well-level production for accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with field measurement and I&E teams to validate data from meters and instrumentation.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot issues with multiphase measurement systems.
• Investigate and reconcile data variances between field systems, measurement data, and accounting records.
• Generate and support invoicing for midstream activities, including internal transfers and third-party charges.
• Ensure consistency and alignment between operational volumes and financial records, supporting accurate revenue recognition and compliance.
• Partner with operations, accounting, and measurement teams to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and system integrity.
• Provide analytical support to assist in decision-making and ensure production and allocation processes reflect field realities.
• 3+ years in midstream and upstream oil & gas accounting, production accounting, or measurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Petroleum Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of allocation methodologies, NGL handling, and midstream contract terms.
• Familiarity with field measurement technologies and data systems.
• Experience working with injection and disposal tracking for gas, water, and oil.
• 5+ years in midstream and upstream oil & gas accounting, production accounting, or measurement.
• Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Petroleum Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening
• Ability to legally work in the US without sponsorship
Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $83,500 - $132,400 annually in this location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.

This position is located Denver, Colorado. Candidates currently residing in locations outside of daily commuting distance will be considered, however, it is the expectation that the selected individual will be available at the work location. No relocation or travel assistance will be provided by the Company for this position.
This position operates in an office environment. This entails working inside in an office space wherein employee may be provided a public work station (cubicle) or private office. From time to time, the role will require field visits where exposure to extreme weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, dust, electrical charges and other unforeseen exposures may be encountered.
In the performance of the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to have visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle and view a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time. While at work sites, the employee will be expected to walk and stand. Individuals might be asked to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and/or crawl. Individuals might be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. in the performance of this position.
This is a full-time position. We operate on a 9/80 work schedule. Typical work hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on working Fridays. Employee must be capable and willing to work overtime as required and to participate in occasional meetings, events, seminars, conferences, or other activities outside of typical work hours. Employees responsible for project operations are expected to monitor and, in some cases, respond to emails, calls, or texts outside of business hours.
Occasional travel to work site locations may be expected. Overnight stays may be required from time to time for training, seminars, field visits, or visits to onsite locations.
