Welder/Fabricator needed for a small but fast paced shop. Must have experience working with aluminum. Our shop services truck deck assemblies including bodies,frames,racks,tool boxes etc.. and some custom work.
Duties
•
Perform welding tasks on various materials, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications
•
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
•
Fitting, fabricating, and assembling from drawings
•
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
•
Able to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
•
Red Seal Certification in Metal Fabrication
•
Forklift certification
•
Set up and operate a variety of fabrication machines, including saws, presses, shears, and welding equipment.
•
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
•
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
•
Ability to work safely and follow standard safety procedures with minimal supervision.
Working hours are between 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday. Must have own transportation.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $33.00-$38.00 per hour
