Position Overview:
The Mechanical Trades Technician will support industrial and commercial projects by performing installation, repair, and maintenance on various mechanical systems. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in any of the following trades: HVAC, mechanics, plumbing, welding, pipefitting, or millwright work. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in mechanical rooms, manufacturing facilities, and plant environments.
Key Responsibilities:
•Install, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment
•Perform tasks related to HVAC, plumbing, welding, and other skilled trades
•Work in mechanical rooms and large industrial environments with precision and safety
•Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
•Maintain job site cleanliness and ensure tools and equipment are in safe working order
•Follow company and site-specific safety policies at all times
•Collaborate with project managers and field supervisors to ensure timely project completion
Qualifications:
•Minimum 2 years of field experience in one or more of the following: HVAC, mechanics, plumbing, welding, pipefitting, or millwright work
•Familiarity with mechanical rooms and industrial plant environments
•Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions
•Must possess a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
•Excellent work ethic and ability to work independently or on a team
Preferred Qualifications:
•OSHA 10 or 30 certification
•Trade-related certifications or licenses
•Experience with rigging, fabrication, or equipment setting
