Mechanical Technician

What you'll be doing:

As Mechanical Technician, you will repair and maintain heavy equipment, conduct machine setup, troubleshoot, conduct preventive maintenance service and carry out FAT’s.

Day to day you'll be involved in:

- Preparing and inspecting equipment for hire, ensuring the kit is fully functional, complete, accurately documented, photographed, and professionally presented

- Trouble shoot and diagnose basic Mechanical, Hydraulic and electrical issues.

- Operate vehicles and equipment as necessary for diagnostic /delivery purposes

- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment

- Carry out FAT testing and setting of equipment with clients

- Off-hire and test equipment returning from hire

- Package and secure equipment suitable for the transport requirements

What experience you'll bring:

- A qualification in Mechanical/Hydraulics or other similar technical discipline and/or equivalent industry experience

- A track record of experience in a Mechanical role undertaking repair, maintenance and testing of mechanical equipment.
