VG is looking to hire an Mechanical Piping Engineer for its Lithium Processing Facility (LPF) facility design, Department Of Energy Project in Oak Ridge, TN. This is an on-site full time position with excellent compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:

•

Caeser Pipe Stress Analysis experience required

•

Design HVAC and plumbing systems for industrial applications

•

Perform temperature / humidity control / utility load calculations

•

Develop Airflow Diagrams, Ventilation & Instrumentation Diagrams, as well as ductwork and piping plans.

•

Develop building management system (BMS) control philosophy and detail the sequence of operations.

•

Conduct site visits and document existing conditions

•

Communicate with clients and attend meeting as required.

Qualification & Skills:

•

Caeser Pipe Stress Analysis experience required

•

10+ years of experience analyzing industrial piping systems

•

TN Professional Engineer License preferred

•

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

•

Knowledgeable in the application of industry standard codes, including ICC, ASHRAE, and NFPA documents

•

Competent using discipline specific technical software such as: Carrier HAP, Trane TRACE, AutoCAD and MS office.

•

Smart Plant 3D experience is desired

•

Registered Professional Engineer (PE) a plus but not required

•

US Citizenship Required for facility clearance
