The selected Candidate will be working as a mechanical engineer planning construction jobs in the Nuclear Industry. The Candidate must be flexible to work both in mechanical design and to develop plans to performance work in nuclear facility. Candidate must be a self-starter and capable of independently performing the designated tasks. Depending on demand work will vary between design and project engineering work.
There are two positions available one Junior and one Intermediate. Both positions may require oversight of construction work to be conducted at Bruce Power or OPG Pickering /Darlington Locations for the medium to long term ( 1 to 2 year duration) . A couple of years of industrial experience is preferred although candidates with good internship experience may also be considered.
Canadian Citizenship is preferred, Candidates must a minimum have PR status.
Selected Candidate is expected to work on shift and overtime is required.
· Write and be responsible for new work procedures and approvals
· Interface with the Customer, Station, Quality Assurance, and Station or tool Design Engineering
· Investigate and prepare specifications for special automated welding equipment
· Review tech spec, code requirements, project schedule
· Prepare tool list and define requirements for new tools or modifications
· Engineering degree in Mechanical or System Design
· Proven problem solving and decision making ability
· Recommended 2 to 4 years of experience, new graduates welcome as well
· Be able to work both independently and in team environment

Our head office is located at 1670 North Service Road, Oakville Ontario. As a service company we work in various locations. Primarily our clients are located at Cambridge , OPG sites (pickering and darlington) and Bruce Power.
Frequent travel to vendor sites may be required. Selected individual may be deployed to provide engineering oversight during construction at Bruce Power and OPG nuclear facilities.
