The Mechanical Designer I will design structures, products, components, or assemblies using engineering and architectural principles. Responsibilities: Specific responsibilities include:* Works closely with project managers to create unique high-level concepts and designs for all assigned projects.
This position is Full-Time, Non-Exempt, and reports to the Engineering Director. Qualifications: Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications* Associate's Degree in HVAC Technology, Building Systems Engineering, Construction Management, or related field or 1-2 years' experience with building construction, especially mechanical, electrical, plumbing, automatic temperature control systems, and/or testing, adjusting, and balancing.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications* Bachelor's degree.
Travel Requirement* 5-10% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.
Physical/Work Environment Requirements* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
