# Job Description Summary

As a mechanical assembler you will engage in drilling, building according to drawingsblueprints, tube-bending, wiring, using torque wrenches, installing pressure gauges, and performing some mechanical tests.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Assemble mechanical products that consist of, but not limited to Trip Manifold Assemblies (TMAs), Hydraulic Power units (HPUs), Pressure Panels, Linear Variable Differential Transformers (LVDTs), and Valve Actuators according to drawings/blueprints.

- Perform assembly by using basic had tools including but limited to drills, ratchets, torque wrenches, tape measure.

- Bend tubes and install on hydraulic actuators and other mechanical assemblies.

- Connect hoses and pressure gauges to mechanical products to prep for hydraulic testing.

- Interface with supervisor and/or manager to give progress updates as required.

- Maintain equipment & clean around work area.

- Drive safety requirements/EHS guidelines and compliance with current policies.

Qualifications / Requirements:

- Ability to work 1st Shift - Flexible start

- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

- Minimum of 1-year mechanical assembly experience.

- Familiarity with basic hand tools such as torques wrench and hand drills

- Basic computer skills, keyboarding/data entry knowledge (label making).

- Ability to work overtime as needed to meet customer schedules.

- Ability and willingness to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

- Ability and willingness to obey all safety rules including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed shoes and safety glasses in designated areas.

Desired Characteristics:

- Drawing/stick print/blueprint reading experience.

- Hand & power tool experience.

- Operate over head crane and forklift.

- Ability to focus on multiple projects and priorities at one time, manage time effectively, and allocate resources efficiently.

- Teamwork & collaboration skills.

- Quick learner, with an ability and interest in learning new skills.

- Attentiveness to Details - Ensures accuracy of tasks and processes to maintain consistent quality of outputs.

- Flexibility - Effective under changing conditions when asked to do different tasks & responsibilities.

- Dependability - Sets high goals for attendance and on-time performance for self and team members.

- Strong work ethic by delivering quality on time work.

- Organization skills and self-motivation.

Pay Transparency

The base hourly pay range for this position is $19.64 -$24.17 hr. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
