Job Title: IBM Maximo Developer
Location: White Plains, NY
Duration: 12 Months (Contract)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Developer to support MAS migration and software optimization projects. This role involves collaborating with IT subject matter experts and business stakeholders to provide Maximo functional and technical expertise. The developer will also work with an implementation partner and IBM support team while ensuring ongoing system stability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Design, develop, and support solutions using Maximo 7.6.x / MAS.
•
Lead MAS 8/9 migration, especially from on-prem to cloud (SaaS).
•
Configure and customize Maximo, including database settings, escalations, and automation scripts.
•
Integrate Maximo with external applications such as SAP and Ariba.
•
Provide production support, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure optimal performance.
•
Collaborate with middleware and infrastructure teams to resolve technical challenges.
•
Develop BIRT reports and write SQL scripts for business data extraction.
Skills & Qualifications:
•
Expertise in Maximo configurations, Java customizations, and automation scripting.
•
Experience with WebSphere, SQL Server, and relational databases.
•
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for software and system issues.
•
Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
•
Ability to monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
•
Experience with change management, testing, and deployment activities.
•
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•
6-8 years of experience with Maximo Application Suite.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.50 per week
Work Location: In person
