Summary

The Engineering Intern will be responsible for:

- Characterization of materials and writing technical reports.

- Extract & analyze existing quality control data for performance evaluation.

- Help develop elastomer material specifications for MDR (rheometer) test.

- Support daily elastomer engineering tasks such as lab testing.

- Work with the quality control labs to schedule and run tests as needed.

- Develop test procedures for any existing or new test.

- Other duties as assigned.

The Intern also will learn about the following:

- Elastomer materials.

- Industry standards.

- Real life testing on equipment.

- Statistical analysis.

Skills/Requirements

- Currently enrolled and working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college with Chemical/Materials Engineering majors or Chemist preferred.

- Minimum GPA of 3.0.

- Good interpersonal skills to drive collaboration across multiple functions to achieve desired results.

- Ability to work independently or within a larger team as required by the project and subsystem.

- Familiarity with Microsoft office products, i.e., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication.

- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
