Job Description

The material control specialist is responsible for creating and executing planned replenishment orders and inventory optimization efforts and maintaining proper materials planning records. Additionally, the role will be responsible for liaising with operations, planning and warehouse teams to properly execute inventory replenishment and optimization activities. The material control specialist is responsible for ensuring stakeholders have the inventory available when it is needed while minimizing inventory levels and logistics costs.

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Materials Control Specialist or Senior Material Control Specialist.
