Fiber Glass Systems, a business under NOV is hiring. We manufacture high-quality, fiberglass underground and steel above ground storage tanks according to manufacturing specification sheets in an efficient manner while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures.
Experience:
•
5-7 years' prior coating and sand blasting experience preferred but not required.
•
High school diploma or equivalent.
•
Must have airless application and conventional spray application experience
•
3-5 years' experience operating powered industrial trucks required
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Operates any equipment needed to perform job
•
Loading completed tanks onto trucks for delivery utilizing various sizes of forklifts
•
Perform coating operations in absence of primary Painter
•
Perform tank preparation before and after coating operations are completed
•
Assist Steel Lead Operator with final detail of completed tanks
•
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
•
Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
•
Utilize safe work habits
•
Wear appropriate PPE
•
Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
•
Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures
•
Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
•
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
•
High School diploma or equivalent
•
Three years of verifiable work history
JOB REQUIREMENTS
•
Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
•
Standing up to 10 hours daily
•
Walking up to 10 hours daily
•
Bending/Stooping up to 10 hours daily
•
Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 10 hours daily
•
Lifting weights up to 45 lbs. regularly
•
Push/Pull up to 10 hours daily
