Material Handler - Immediate openings

Pay Rate - Depends on experience level, Night shift premium.

Job description: As a Material Handler you will be at the center of Artisan’s material coating production line. This individual will manage the loading of parts for the paint and powder lines, perform QC functions and package processed material for shipment, some powder coating, parts loading into cure oven. Roles change throughout the day and week - from material loading, to packaging, material prep as needed. Small, collaborative team requires good attitude and cooperation to be successful.

Ability to lift and manage work pieces weighing approximately 50 lbs is required. Ability to determine safe and correct positioning of material on a moving conveyor line is critical. Routine activities include packaging, moving materials around shop floor on carts, loading and unloading crates & pallets. Must be able to load parts on conveyor top row at six feet high.

A reliable team player to process material through complete production cycle; motivated with ability to make decisions on material handling and quality.

Check and document material quality against standards and specs. Large work piece assembly line experience and forklift certification a strong plus.

Qualifications: Preferred experience in a shop environment, paint or powder coating, and a high aptitude for consistent, high quality output. Working knowledge of quality processes and documentation. Strong mechanical knowledge. Ability to follow directions. Curiosity to gain knowledge. Reliable transportation

Job Type: Day shift from 7am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs with occasional Friday overtime @1.5 rate
