Under limited supervision, assists in the performance of a variety of warehousing duties. Processes paperwork on incoming materials and document damages and shortages. Loads and unloads tank trucks, performs calculations to convert pounds and gallons, maintains order documentation and verifies shipping orders, begins learning to work with pressurized rail cars and tank trucks, acquires skills to load and unload chemicals weighing from 40-36,000 pounds which require special handling. Learns international shipment process. Performs maintenance on container fleet, cleans containers using chemical cleaning process. Adheres to plant safety policies and procedures. Works outdoors year round in all types of weather conditions.

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for:

- Preparing of chemical containers for filling and shipping

- Completing all HSE, PSM and job specific training

- Processing, completing, and maintaining all documentation as required

- Utilizing computers to facilitate job duties on occasion

- Working with pressurized rail cars, tank trucks, and acquiring skills to load and unload bulk chemicals

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a High School diploma or equivalent

- Have experience with handling chemicals and experience with driving a forklift

- Have exceptional oral, written communication and interpersonal skills

- Have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

- Have awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and potential risks
