About This Job

6 month Assignment (Temp to hire)

RESPONSIBILITIES

•

Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman.

•

Reads and interprets instructions and procedures.

•

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.

•

Transfers chemical from one vessel to another outside 90% of the day

•

May move materials manually or using handtruck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow, conveyor, or hand-operated crane or hoist.

•

Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities.

•

Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.

•

Performs other duties and activities as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

•

High School diploma or GED

•

1 yr Chemical Transfer Material Handling experience

•

Outdoor Warehouse labor -Loading & Unloading Chemicals

•

Inventory Management -Cycle Count

•

Shipping & Receiving

•

Tools/Machinery: Forklift, Pallet Jacks, Pallet Wrapper, & Hand tools

•

Good Organizational, Time Management, and Communication skills

•

Must be dependable & have a stable work history

•

Customer Service

•

Candidate must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.

•

Must pass pre-employment Drug/Alcohol Screen, Physical, and Background Check

•

Current driver's license

ROTATION/SHIFT

•

5 Days on/2 Days off rotation, some on-call

•

6:00am-6:00pm

Job Type: Temp-to-hire

Pay: $19.50 - $20.00 per hour
