About This Job

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will work as a part of team where discipline and rigor are the highest priorities. You will perform complex operations that require a high level of attention, concentration and coordination. You will learn the operations of various lift trucks that are a part of receiving, production, and shipping.

Night Shift available. Pay range is $22.75 - $26.00 based upon experience.

A MATERIAL HANDLER MUST BE ABLE TO:

•

Handle parts and material in a safe manner using overhead crane or forklift;

•

Load, unload or move various products and material to put them away into the appropriate space;

•

Assist during the flanges receiving;

•

Complete receiving reports;

•

Operate a vacuum plate lifter to unload plates from trucks or wagons;

•

Drive a truck equipped with a trailer to load and ensure a constant supply of plates to the production team;

•

Operate small, medium, and heavy lift trucks;

•

Spend up to 50% of your time out of the lift assisting within other departments as needed;

•

Perform other duties as assigned by the production supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

•

Climb stairs and ladders, work at heights;

•

Lift and carry between 30-70 lbs.;

Stand and walk for long periods of time;

Bend, kneel, sqaut, twist, reach;

•

Work above shoulders;

•

Tolerate exposure to weather, hot/cold environments;
