Material Coordiantors are responsible for the movement of goods within the organization. They ensure that products and materials are delivered to the right place at the right time, and they may also be tasked with tracking these items as they move through the supply chain.
Material Coordinators typically work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are critical. They must be able to multitask effectively while payinig close attention to details.
Material Coordinators have a wide range of responsibilities which may include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring that product quality standards are met by selecting materials that match customer build sheets
- Coordinating with Project Managers to ensure that materials are delivered on time to meet customer requirements
- Monitoring inventory levels and ordering additional materials as needed to ensure that supply meets current year shop requirements
- Coordinating with production staff to ensure that materials are available when needed
- Assisting in planning for future material needs by developing and maintaining a forcast based on historical data and future growth of the Branch
- Reviewing invoices for accuracy and ensuring that equipment is added into ODOO (material inventory control system)
- Kitting purchased material for customer PO's
- Perform monthly material audits to ensure inventory accuracies
- Data Entry: As a Material Coordinator, you will be responsible for tracking and organizing inventory. This involves tracking the locaiton of materials, monitoring the amount of materials on hand and ensuring that materials are delivered to the correct location.
- Customer Property: Enter all customer property into the specific customers Fulcrum app when received from either the customer or a Great Lakes Wellhead Field Service Technician.
- Additional Duties: Management reserves the right to add responsibilities as needed by Great Lakes Wellhead, Inc. at any time (ie: assembly, painting, hydrostatic testing and other duties as needed)
- Complete Documentation as needed
- Maintain professional behavior and appearance while carrying out services and tasks when representing Great Lakes Wellhead, Inc.
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Great Lakes Wellhead, Inc.
- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to read blueprints

- Physically able to perform the duties of the job
- Possess a valid drivers license (required)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen (required)
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Experience with quality control techniques
- Experience with measuring devices such as: Mics, Gauges, Computers, Calipers and other measuring instruments
- Minimum of one year experience in quality inspection work in oil field products (or other similar experience)
- Wellhead knowledge a plus
