Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of electrical systems and be adept at working in various environments, including construction sites. This role requires expertise in both high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical issues. The Master Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs are completed safely and efficiently.

Duties

•

Oversee electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for commercial projects.

•

Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.

•

Install, maintain, and repair wiring, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.

•

Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical problems.

•

Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.

•

Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate electrical work within project timelines.

•

Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.

•

Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols.

Qualifications

•

Valid Master Electrician license or equivalent certification.

•

Proven experience as a commercial electrician with a strong background in both high voltage and low voltage systems.

•

Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in electrical systems.

•

Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters.

•

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.

•

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively.

•

Ability to work in various environments including construction sites while adhering to safety standards.

•

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
