Description SCOPE:
Christensen, Inc., is a privately held, mid-market fuel, propane and lubricants distributor with operations in the western US, with a significant presence in the Pacific Northwest, and has a growing mixed portfolio of 10,000+ active customers. The company’s future growth plans have created the need for an experienced Corporate Controller to focus on corporate accounting, governance, and reporting.
The Finance & Accounting Applications & Systems Team (FAAST) is a key function established by the current CFO and supports 15+ enterprise systems and the data flows between them. Our current growth and future plans have created the need for a new Master Data Manager role to establish and lead our master/reference data capability—owning the strategy, platforms, and processes that keep customer, vendor, product, account, and location data accurate, governed, and analytics-ready.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data engineering and governance—someone who can design APIs, data lakes, and pipelines while also leading stewardship forums, policies, and change management to drive adoption across the enterprise. This role is both strategic and tactical and presents an opportunity to own a function that will be key to enabling the company’s aggressive M&A plans and organic growth strategies at a time when the organization is preparing for the next wave of growth.
