The Marketing Director is responsible for overseeing all marketing initiatives to drive business growth, enhance brand visibility, and align marketing efforts with the company's strategic objectives. This individual will play a key role in leading cross-functional teams, managing marketing channels, and ensuring the delivery of impactful campaigns that generate measurable results.
· Lead and manage a team of 2–3 marketing professionals, providing mentorship, direction, and performance feedback to foster professional growth. •
· Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring that team members have clear goals, timelines, and support to succeed in their roles.
· Develop and execute lead generation strategies to ensure a consistent flow of qualified leads, meeting or exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs). •
· Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing campaigns with sales goals and support their initiatives through tailored marketing materials and strategies.
· Maintain and oversee inventory of all Dilmar-branded marketing items (e.g., apparel, promotional items, leave-behinds, and office supplies). •
· Ensure all marketing collateral aligns with the company’s brand guidelines and reflects a professional image.
· Direct and manage all digital marketing efforts, including website optimization, social media strategy (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), email campaigns, and paid advertising. • Analyze website traffic and engagement, provide regular performance reports, and recommend upgrades or changes to enhance user experience and lead generation.
· Strategize, plan, and coordinate Dilmar’s participation in trade shows and industry events to maximize brand exposure and networking opportunities. •
· Identify relevant trade publications and manage content submissions to enhance brand visibility in targeted verticals. •
· Conduct in-depth competitive research, including analysis of competitors’ marketing strategies, digital presence, and targeted keywords.
· Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer preferences to inform strategic marketing decisions.
· Develop and implement annual inbound and outbound marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with the company’s business goals. •
· Evaluate and recommend innovative marketing tools and platforms to enhance productivity and campaign effectiveness.
· Oversee third-party marketing vendors, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with strategic objectives. •
· Collaborate with the VP of Sales to identify and implement best practices for customer relationship management (CRM) tools and strategies. •
· Monitor, measure, and report on the success of marketing campaigns using data-driven metrics and analytics. •
· Provide actionable insights and recommendations to refine future strategies and improve ROI.
· Lead the creation of high-quality, engaging content, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, videos, and presentations. •
· Ensure all communication reflects a professional, warm, and approachable tone, fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
· Act as a key advisor to the VP of Sales, contributing innovative ideas to elevate marketing and sales alignment. •
· Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
· Manage special projects as assigned by the VP of Sales and other executives, ensuring timely and successful completion. •
· Maintain an organized workspace and exemplify professionalism, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. •
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.) •
· 5+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably in B2B industries. • Expertise in digital marketing, lead generation, and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce). •
· Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail. •
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and represent the company externally. •
· Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and adapt strategies accordingly. •
