The Marketing Clerk reports to the Marketing & Community Engagement Manager and is responsible for supporting our marketing, community engagement, sustainability and customer experience efforts.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Brand & Marketing Support
•Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and community initiatives.
•Design and produce marketing materials, including video content, print ads, email campaigns, billboards, social media graphics, and in-store signage.
•Maintain and update Swan Valley Co-op’s website and digital signage (Screen Cloud) to ensure consistent and accurate messaging.
•Support the execution of department advertising requests, including signage and promotional materials.
•Provide support for the B-04 Advertising Allowance program.
Social Media & Digital Engagement
•Create, schedule, and manage engaging social media content for Facebook, Instagram, and other emerging platforms.
•Monitor and respond to customer engagement on social media to enhance community interaction.
•Prepare and distribute weekly coupons and flyer downloads for social media promotion.
Community & Member Engagement
•Assist in planning, promoting, and executing community events and initiatives.
•Manage Kids Club engagement, including birthday card distribution, new membership entries, and event promotions.
Enter and manage community impact initiatives through Do Some Good* platform.
•Prepare and distribute holiday hours advertising.
Internal Communications & Administrative Support
•Assist with the creation and distribution of the bi-monthly employee newsletter.
•Assist with sustainability tracking and reporting.
•Conduct market research and provide insights to support new marketing initiatives.
•Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth coordination within the marketing department.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
