Titan Energy New England has an immediate opening for Market Support Analyst in its Hartford, CT headquarters. This position will report to the Vice President of Market Development. The analyst will help drive new growth opportunities to Titan Energy’s electricity and natural gas procurement operations by working hand in hand with Titan Energy sales representatives in developing client-focused pricing options, presentations and analyses. Titan Energy is seeking an ambitious, driven and dedicated individual interested in a high upside growth opportunity with an industry-leading energy consultancy.

Title: Market Support Analyst

Department: Market Support/ Pricing

Key Areas of Responsibility:

- Facilitate electricity and natural gas pricing activities with Titan’s network of suppliers and sales representatives

- Analyze, negotiate and vet out pricing and contract terms and conditions, per client’s pricing goals and objectives

- Maintain consistent and thorough understanding of energy market indicators, prices, regulations and industry trends

- Develop client-tailored pricing options and sales strategy, as well as administration of customer-specific contractual requirements and product offerings

- Interface consistently with Titan Energy sales representatives in delivering superior customer and sales support

- Provide ongoing reporting and feedback to Titan management of sales activities

- Assist in driving sales growth through analyses

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Marketing or related fields

- 2-5 years of business experience, preferably inclusive of managerial responsibilities in sales organization

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, VBA, PowerPoint and Access

- Demonstrated experience in spreadsheet manipulation and analysis

- General to advanced knowledge of deregulated electricity and natural gas markets

- Demonstrated ability to condense technical, energy related information in a straightforward, concise manner

- General knowledge on coding software and web based interfaces

- Highly effective communicator, especially in technical and web-based formats

- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a fast paced environment
