Position Overview:
In this key leadership role, you’ll oversee daily operations across both the machine shop and assembly departments. You’ll be responsible for production planning, quality control, team supervision, equipment maintenance, and inventory flow – ensuring efficient operations and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules for machining and assembly
•Supervise machinists and assemblers; assign tasks and monitor performance
•Conduct first article inspections and enforce QC protocols
•Oversee equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance programs
•Manage inventory of raw materials, tooling, and purchased components
•Coordinate with outside vendors (e.g., surface treatment, metal/oil recycling)
•Support R&D projects and provide input on new products or processes
•Lead team performance reviews and handle timecard/time-off tracking
•Maintain accurate documentation for training, assembly instructions, and testing protocols
•Ensure calibration and certification of manufacturing/testing equipment
•Serve as liaison for UL certification compliance
•Issue purchase orders in coordination with the purchasing department
•Step in to set up or operate machines when needed to meet production goals
Requirements:
•Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role
•Strong knowledge of machining, quality control, and assembly operations
•Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills
•Hands-on ability to set up and run manual and/or CNC machines
•Familiarity with inventory systems, scheduling, and workflow management
•Basic knowledge of MS Office products
Preferred Qualifications:
•Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
•Technical degree or certification in manufacturing, machining, or related field

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
