As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and reliability of equipment, machinery, and facilities within an organization. Your role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency of operations, minimizing downtime, and promoting a safe working environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Includes the following:
· Procurement of stock repair parts, outsourced equipment repair, and any emergency or otherwise necessary items for maintenance
· Help initiate contact, and work with contracted service providers as necessary
· Provide time-to-repair estimates to aid in production’s direction and effectively source any needed parts or materials in timely manner
· Conduct and/or make recommendations for employee training
· Schedule preventive maintenance, make amendments to work instruction, and manage approval of work requests in MMS
· Work with schematics, wiring diagrams, specification sheets, blueprints, and various other technical documentation
· As a Maintenance Manager you will be a working Manager.
· Ability to create a scope of work for a project or a repair to go out for competitive bids with contractors.
· Maintain good working relationship with established contractors.
· Available to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
