Lead and supervise the daily operations of the Manufacturing Engineering Department while executing the vision and plans set by the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. You’ll guide production launches, champion continuous improvement initiatives, mentor engineers, and ensure quality standards are met across the board. Along the way, you’ll help develop training, policies, and procedures that shape the future of the department and keep Centrus at the forefront of innovation.
We’d Love to Hear From People With:
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or a related engineering field. - 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
- Hands-on experience using AIAG Core Tools.
- Experience leading production launches and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with industry manufacturing quality systems (NQA-1, ISO-TS, AS9001).
- Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) or similar systems.
The ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance.
- Previous leadership or team management experience.
- Supplier Quality Engineering knowledge.
- Background in lean manufacturing and/or composites manufacturing.
- Project management expertise.
- Experience with license-driven, safety-significant parts/systems.
- Centrifuge manufacturing experience

This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government. Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
