FIDELITY MANUFACTURING is part of the backup Power Generation Industry. We design and build
back up power packages (to include tanks and enclosures) for large and small health, industrial, and
technology-oriented businesses that cannot have a power lapse at any time.
Position Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, improving, and documenting manufacturing processes in a custom production environment. This role balances hands-on problem-solving with process development, equipment selection, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and quality.
- Develop and update work instructions, standard operating procedures, and tooling setups.
- Lead new equipment research, justification, and implementation.
- Collaborate with design, maintenance, and production to resolve technical issues.
- Analyze production data and recommend improvements (time studies, layout optimization).
- Assist with quality improvement and root cause analysis.
- Support training programs for operators and technicians.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a custom or low-volume/high-mix environment.- Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing documentation tools.
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and data analysis tools.
