The qualified candidate will join our talented team of nearly 100 employees working to implement award-winning energy savings projects for our valued clients.
Reporting to the Production Manager, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Brampton, Ontario. In this role, you’ll play a key part in developing, designing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes for our OEM HVAC products. These processes will address refrigeration and air conditioning equipment manufacturing, assembly, production, quality, and safety.
Core Responsibilities:
•Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes
•Develop and update Bills of Material & Installation and Operational Manual
•Root Cause Analysis of manufacturing and production issues
•Process and workflow optimization to improve throughput and efficiency
•Provide project support and leadership in developing and introducing new products
•Develop and maintain work instructions
•Create and drive an environment of continuous improvement
•Lead the Corrective Action process
•Create a shared commitment to quality and accuracy
•Other duties as required

Qualifications and Education Required:
•Degree in Mechanical Engineering (P. Eng. designation is desirable) or Technologist (CET designation is desirable) with suitable experience.Industry
•Document proofing, establishing standard work practices, problem-solving, etc.
•Working knowledge of manufacturing operations.
•Software such as AutoCAD, BricsCAD, ERP/MRP
Preferred Experience:
•Industry Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in Mechanical Engineering
•Experience with or knowledge of refrigeration and chillers would be an asset
Physical Requirements:
•Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
•Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
•Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
Compensation:
•Salary up to $85,000, commensurate with experience.
•Three (3) weeks of vacation.
•Ten (10) paid days off (sick days).

Schedule:
•The typical work week is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
