The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for ensuring that production processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet or exceed quality standards. This role combines hands-on process optimization with rigorous quality oversight—bridging engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance functions to deliver consistent, high-performing products.
• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for improved efficiency, safety, and cost control.
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and production standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality control processes to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for product and process nonconformities.
• Maintain and improve quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, API).
• Perform inspections, audits, and data analysis to identify trends and drive quality improvements.
• Partner with suppliers to ensure material and component quality meets specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and keen attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize time and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Capacity to use critical thinking to solve problems
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and production flow.
• Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, PPAP, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with industry standards (ISO 9001, ASME, API, or equivalent).
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or related technical degree
• Manufacturing engineering experience preferred, but not required
