SCOPE:

Responsible for part assembly, installing components, helical inserts, and other mechanical assemblies.

CORE DUTIES:

•

Assemble a wide variety of precision components with attention to detail and quality.

•

Adhere to Pre-Tech’s production standards and prioritize workload to meet on-time delivery at the direction of the Shop Manager.

•

Responsible for housekeeping and organization of Assembly area.

•

Work with Quality department to promote zero defect philosophy and adhere to quality work instructions.

•

Promote continuous improvement regarding waste elimination, improving efficiency, and reducing rework parts. Visually inspect all parts that come through Assembly department.

EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCY:

•

Manual dexterity needed to accomplish precise assembly tasks.

•

Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.

•

Education: High school diploma or equal experience.

•

US Citizenship is required.
